Heritage Village

Step back in time to feel what it would have been like to live in Cochrane, Ontario in the early 1900's. 

Cochrane in the Early 1900's

Located adjacent to the Polar Bear Habitat, you can take a leisurely stroll down the main street and listen to the birds in trees while taking in the historic surroundings.

This walk-through immersive experience features a number of replica buildings, including a doctor's office, train station, hardware store and blacksmith shop. 

Carefully curated items and detailed displays allow visitors from all ages to learn about our local history from 100 years ago.

Horse Shows

During the summer months, horse shows and competitions are held in the full size riding arena at the far end of the Heritage Village. Admission for spectators is included with daily admission or yearly membership.

Daily Admission and Yearly Memberships to the Polar Bear Habitat also include access to The Heritage Village and Snowmobile Museum.
